Best Rice I have EVER made

I have made this rice since I was a teenager in Boston. It has the most delicious flavor goes PERFECT with any Chicken or Seafood dish. If you cook it just right it should come out very moist and flavorful… the trick is to use butter and stir the seasonings often (make sure it is throughout the pot) I used to only find the rice this rice back home in Boston or in Florida when I would visit my Mom now you can get them here on Amazon this is GREAT!

BTW whenever there is a potluck I like to make this rice because EVERYONE loves it and you couldn’t you just buy it anywhere.

They have MSG!!!!!!

I have used this brand for years and love the red beans and rice packet. But last night we were cooking up the yellow rice for the first time and my husband discovered MSG as one of the ingredients!!!!!!!! I was shocked! Lesson learned… I will read all of the packets ingredients before buying in the future. It will be sad if we can’t enjoy these easy and delightful side dishes in the future. Though they list ingredients on this site, notice the disclaimer below. I would rather not support a business that uses these tactics. You decide for yourself.

Absolutely the best – cooks up perfect, very close to the yellow rice and chicken dish I enjoyed in Tampa as a kid.
